The first time I saw him I knew something was different about him. He caught my soccer ball with a grace that made me stop running. It might have been the way he moved, or it could have been the white spiky hair and deep, smoldering green eyes. He looked around my age, if not a little older. I stared for a moment before realizing what I had almost done: run into the middle of a busy road without looking, chasing after my beloved soccer ball. What an idiot.
